San Diego, California - San Diego State women’s basketball head coach Stacie Terry has bolstered the Aztec roster this summer with the recent addition of newcomers McKynzie Fort (Fontana) and Kym Ellison (Columbus, Georgia). Fort is an incoming freshman who will be able to compete for SDSU immediately, while Ellison arrives on Montezuma Mesa from Georgia Tech and will have two years of eligibility left, beginning with the 2015-16 campaign.

Eugene, Oregon - San Diego State incoming freshman track and field athlete Bonnie Draxler (Wrightstown, Wis.) advanced in the qualifying round of the pole vault during the IAAF 2014 World Junior Championships preliminaries on Tuesday, with a clearance of 13-feet, 5.25-inches (4.10-meters). With her mark, Draxler qualified for the final round, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 24.
