San Diego, California - After a two-week break, the 22nd-ranked San Diego State women’s golf team returns to the fairways early next week when it puts the finishing touches on its fall schedule  at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, October 26-28, in Boulder City, Nevada.

La Jolla, California - The San Diego State rowing team will get the 2014-15 campaign underway on Sunday, October 26, as it competes in the 14th-annual Row for the Cure at North Ski Beach on Mission Bay. The event, which is hosted by UC San Diego, will raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and is set to start at 7:40 a.m.

Reno, Nevada - San Diego State dug itself into a two-set hole and was unable to complete a comeback as it dropped a four-set decision to Nevada (14-25, 23-25, 25-18, 18-25) Thursday evening in Reno. The loss ended a short two-match win streak for the Aztecs who saw their record drop to 7-9 overall and 3-3 in the Mountain West.
