San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers placed center Rich Ohrnberger on Reserve-Injured Tuesday due to a back injury.  The veteran center started seven of eight games played this season (games 2-3, 6-10).  He joins fellow centers Nick Hardwick (neck) and Doug Legursky (knee) on the reserve list.

San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers announced Tuesday that all tickets are sold to the remaining regular-season home games except for a limited number of Club seats available for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. 

San Diego, California - The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee notified San Diego State Monday that it will host the second and third rounds of the 2018 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl. It will mark the fourth time in 17 seasons that San Diego State and its on-campus arena have served as a host for the men's basketball tournament.

Berkeley, California - San Diego State dropped a crushing 3-2 double-overtime decision at California in the first round of the NCAA tournament Saturday afternoon at Goldman Field. The loss ended the three-time defending Mountain West champions’ season and sent their record to 15-5-2. The Golden Bears, meanwhile, moved on to the second round and improved to 14-5-2.

San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers added outside linebacker Melvin Ingram and safety Adrian Phillips to the active roster on Saturday.  Ingram had been on “Reserve-Injured, Designated for Return” since September 20 with a hip injury and Phillips was signed from the team’s practice squad.

San Diego, California - On the heels of a successful campaign for the Jeff Jacobs J.A.M. Center and its basketball programs, San Diego State University Athletics has launched a campaign to provide scholarship support for student-athletes. The Aztec Club, the fundraising arm of Athletics, has set a goal of 5,000 members who will support scholarships through the Coryell Legacy - a giving society for donors to contribute endowments and estate gifts.
