Chula Vista, California - Defensive end Kendall Reyes, defensive tackle Sean Lissemore and NASA astronaut Mike Hopkins will join forces to address more than 150 kids from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Star/Pal and South Bay YMCA on the importance of being active and eating healthy. Kids will also participate in a Play 60 fitness camp which will feature NFL-style drills and exercises performed by astronauts.

PLAY 60 is the NFL’s movement for an active generation, which teaches kids the importance of eating healthy and being active at least 60 minutes each day.

The Train Like an Astronaut program uses the excitement of space exploration and astronaut training to challenge, inspire, and educate kids to set physical fitness goals and to practice proper nutrition. Hopkins featured his daily workouts and the importance of exercise aboard his recent space station mission.
