San Diego, California - The Chargers released outside linebacker Larry English, the team announced today.
“We’d like to thank Larry for his five years of dedicated service to the Chargers,” said General Manager Tom Telesco. “Larry always gave us everything he had on the field while making significant contributions to many deserving organizations in the San Diego community.”
English joined the Chargers as a first-round pick in 2009. Injuries limited him to 52 games and over five seasons in which he recorded 82 tackles and 11 sacks.
