San Diego, California - San Diego State men's soccer alum Kraig Chiles has been named to the U.S. Futsal National Team's 14-man roster in preparation for the International Futsal Challenge November 6-8 in San Jose, Costa Rica, head coach Keith Tozer announced.

The United States faces on Venezuela on Nov. 6, Panama on Nov. 7 and host nation Costa Rica on Nov. 8. 

Chiles has been a member of the U.S. Futsal National Team since 2011, scoring nine goals in 14 caps. He is one of the most decorated players in indoor soccer, capturing, in his five-year Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) career, three PASL Most Valuable Player awards and two playoff MVP honors, leading the league in goals three times and earning the league's points title. He has a league-best 201 goals and 275 points during that span. 

Over his five-year Aztec career (2003-07), Chiles picked up three all-Pac-10 Conference nods, capping off his turn in the Scarlet and Black with a senior season that saw him earn first team all-conference honors. A San Diego native, he led the team is scoring for two straight seasons, finishing second his final year. 

San Diego State returns to Pac-12 action with a pair of home contests on Fri., Nov. 6 and Sun., Nov. 8 against Washington and Oregon State respectively. The match against the Huskies, which will honor San Diego youth soccer players, kicks off at 7 p.m. PT, and the Beavers’ match is slated for noon.
