San Diego, California - San Diego State has added Savannah State to this season’s schedule, which completes the 2016-17 slate. SDSU will face the Tigers on Monday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. PT on Steve Fisher Court inside Viejas Arena.

The Aztecs, who are ranked 25th in Sporting News’ preseason top 25, will be facing the MEAC school for the first time in school history.

The Tigers, meanwhile, are coming off a 2015-16 campaign that saw them finish with a 16-16 record (9-7 MEAC) and an appearance in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

As for the 2016-17 Aztecs, they enter the new season with three returning starters and eight letterwinners off a ‘15-16 squad that reached the semifinals of the NIT, won the Mountain West regular season outright and posted a 28-10 record.
