San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers placed inside linebacker Nick Dzubnar on Reserve-Injured due to a knee injury, the team announced Monday. The Chargers currently have 16 players on reserve-injured.

Dzubnar was the team’s leading special teams tackler as a rookie in 2015. He had appeared in all 20 games since joining the Chargers as an undrafted free agent last season.

Dzubnar will be replaced on the active roster by defensive tackle Damion Square. Square had been suspended for the first four games of the season and the team was given a one-week roster-exemption, which expired today.

Square, 6-2, 293, originally joined the Chargers off waivers from Kansas City in 2014. He appeared in six games with one start for the Chargers in 2015.
