San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers added outside linebacker Chris Landrum to the active roster from the practice squad, the team announced Saturday. To make room for Landrum on the roster, the Bolts have waived cornerback Pierre Desir.

Landrum is a 6-2, 245 pound rookie out of Jacksonville State who joined the team as an undrafted rookie in May. He was released at the end of training camp, but immediately re-signed to the practice squad where he’s remained since the start of the season.

A native of Sweet Water, Alabama, Landrum began his collegiate career at Auburn before transferring to Jacksonville State where he earned All-America and first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors following his senior season.

Landrum wears No. 46.
