Escondido, California - The FBI and Escondido Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Bank of America branch located at 1350 East Valley Parkway in Escondido, California, on Monday, May 12, 2014.
On Monday, May 12, 2014, at approximately 1:48 p.m., the Bank of America branch located at 1350 East Valley Parkway in Escondido, California, was robbed by an unknown male, hereinafter referred to as the robber. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and waited in line until he was called to the victim teller’s counter. Once at the victim teller’s counter, the robber presented a demand note for cash. The victim teller read the demand note and provided the robber with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money, the robber exited the bank and was last seen walking west on Valley Parkway. No weapon was observed, and no injuries were reported.
Witnesses described the robber as follows:
- Sex: Male
- Race: White
- Height: approximately 5’5” to 5’7” tall
- Weight: approximately 160 to 180 pounds
- Build: Medium
- Hair: Light brown beard
- Age: Late 40s to early 50s
- Tattoo: Tattoo on right forearm
- Clothing: Dark blue baseball cap, gray/blue short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
