Trump. The multistate amicus brief supports transgender individuals seeking to enlist, or currently serving openly, in the U.S. military. Friday’s brief is the latest action in Attorney General Becerra’s ongoing effort to challenge President Trump's discriminatory transgender military service ban.

Colorado Civil Rights Commission. The case involves a Colorado bakery owner who refused to sell a wedding cake to a same-sex couple, citing religious beliefs and freedom of speech rights, in violation of a state civil rights law.
