San Diego Chargers - Kansas City Chiefs Game traffic reminders

San Diego, California - Fans attending Thursday night’s Chargers-Chiefs game are being reminded to carpool and arrive early or use public transportation due to the 5:20 pm kickoff that coincides with rush-hour traffic.

Information on bus and trolley transportation to the game, including routes, schedules and fares is available online at http://www.chargers.com/tickets/stadium/bus-and-trolley.html and at www.sdmts.com.

Fans attending the game on Thursday night are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food to help San Diegans in need during the holiday season. The food collected will help families in economic distress and help reinforce the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s dangerously-low food supply. Red bins will be positioned at all stadium entrances. The most needed items are canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, soup and cereal. The fan who brings in the most food will receive a very special 50th Anniversary team signed football. Fans who cannot attend the game can still help by donating items in red bins located in supermarkets throughout the county.
