Personal Property Penalty Deadline for Late Filing Approaching

San Diego, California - The annual personal property statements for businesses, aircraft, and vessels, and notices of electronic filing (E-file) for San Diego County were distributed in January and February. Taxpayers receiving a statement or notice of electronic filing were required to file by April 2, 2013. Ernie Dronenburg, the San Diego County Assessor, wants to remind owners of businesses, general aircraft or vessels that the deadline to file this year without a penalty is May 7, 2013.
