San Diego, California - “Toastmasters: More Than A Meeting” San Diego County Speech Contests Scheduled to occur at San Diego County Office of Education District 5’s Fall Conference will take place at the San Diego County Office of Education, 6401 Linda Vista Road, San Diego October 30th & 31st. One of only two conferences sponsored by Toastmasters International each year in San Diego, the event includes two speaking contests (prepared and impromptu); presentations by Craig Valentine, 1999 World Champion of Public Speaking; educational sessions; a costume contest; an opportunity drawing; and the semi-annual business meeting. Friday’s Table Topic & Costume Contest will include dinner (registration and social, 6pm; contest, 7:35pm). Saturday’s Business Meeting & Humorous Speech Contest will include early brunch and following snacks (credential desk and social, 8:00am; business meeting, 8:45am.
