Washington, DC - A federal grand jury in Wilmington, Delaware, returned a four-count indictment Thursday charging Evridiki Navigation Inc., Liquimar Tankers Management Services Inc., and Nikolaos Vastardis with failing to keep accurate pollution control records, falsifying records, and obstruction of justice, the Justice Department announced.

Honolulu, Hawaii - The owner of a Hawaii-based engineering and consulting company was sentenced to 30 months in prison for his involvement in an international bribery conspiracy, announced Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Special Agent in Charge Sean Kaul of the FBI’s Honolulu Field Office.

Redwood City, California - Informatica LLC f/k/a Informatica Corporation has agreed to pay $21.57 million to resolve allegations that it caused the government to be overcharged by providing misleading information about its commercial sales practices that was used in General Services Administration (“GSA”) contract negotiations, the Justice Department announced today. Informatica is a software development company, headquartered in Redwood City, California that sells tools for establishing and maintaining data warehouses.
