SDSU extends its winning streak to seven games and improves to 32-14 (14-7) on the year, while New Mexico drops to 15-29-1 (8-17 MW). With Nevada's 4-2 win over Fresno State on Friday night, the Aztecs remain a game back of first place in the Mountain West standings.

La Jolla, California - Outfielder Kelsi Maday was named Most Valuable Player and pitcher Robyn Wampler was tabbed Freshman of the Year as five University of California San Diego softball players earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) recognition for their outstanding play during the 2018 season. The conference announced its annual award recipients Friday on the opening day of its postseason tournament.

San Francisco, California - The 46th-ranked San Diego State women’s golf team begins its quest for postseason glory when it travels to the Bay Area to compete in the NCAA San Francisco Regional, May 7-9, in San Francisco, Calif. The Aztecs, who are making their fifth consecutive regional appearance and eighth in the last nine years, will be among the field vying for a spot in the NCAA championship series, scheduled for May 18-23 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

San Diego, California - The San Diego State baseball team defeated UC Riverside, 8-6, in its regular season non-conference finale at Tony Gwynn Stadium Tuesday night. SDSU, which extended its season-best winning streak to six games, stands at 31-14 on the year while UCR drops to 16-23.

San Diego, California - San Diego State and Brigham Young announced today that they have agreed to a home-and-home men’s basketball series that will begin with the 2018-19 campaign. The first match-up will be played at Viejas Arena next season on Dec. 22, 2018, with the Aztecs returning to Provo, Utah for the 2019-20 season on Nov. 9, 2019.
