San Diego, California - The community is invited to a symposium that will showcase the work and celebrate the one year anniversary of San Diego State University’s Sage Project - a collaboration between SDSU’s Center for Regional Sustainability, numerous students, faculty and staff across campus and National City to help the city reach its sustainability goals.

Through the project, more than 800 students have worked with faculty and National City officials on creative ideas, designs and solutions that promote sustainability and quality of life in the city while seeing how their academic work intersects with sustainable growth for communities throughout the region.

4 to 4:45 p.m.: VIP event featuring presentation about the Sage Project

5 to 7 p.m.: Symposium featuring dozens of projects by students
