San Diego, California - Just in time for college football season, Alaska Airlines is rewarding serious San Diego State Aztec fans with priority boarding on all flights departing San Diego International Airport. Fans wearing Aztec jerseys or sweatshirts will receive priority boarding August 23-December 1, 2014.

Alaska is also offering 20 percent off travel for fans to follow the Aztecs on the road throughout the football season, as well as discounted airfare for displaced fans to come back to San Diego and attend select home games.  Visit for more information on discounted flights.

In 2012, Alaska unveiled a specially painted Aztec plane with the San Diego State University logo and hallmark scarlet and black colors. The Bombardier Q400 is one of 11 university-themed aircraft flown by Alaska’s sister carrier Horizon Air.
