La Jolla, California - Three members of the University of California San Diego women's rowing team have been named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Americans as the organization recently announced its 2018 selections.

Senior Catherine Mosher, junior Brooke Campbell, and freshman coxswain Juni Kim were selected to the 2018 CRCA Division II All-America First Team.

The trio helped pace UC San Diego's Varsity 8 to a second-place finish at the NCAA Championships in Sarasota, Fla., in May. The Tritons made a valiant late push to come out of the fourth position and overtake Florida Tech and West Region rival Western Washington to cross the line in second, matching a program-best finish at nationals.

Also in 2018, UC San Diego's Varsity 8 rowed to an open water victory at the Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River outside of Philadelphia, the program's first-ever V8 win at the event. The Tritons' V8 also won at the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay.

Mosher majored in Political Science at UC San Diego's Roosevelt College, while Campbell is a Biology major at Revelle College, and Kim is a Psychology major at Sixth College.
