Pasadena, California - This year, Caltech students have more options for arts-oriented classes to choose from with topics ranging from Victorian media to volcanic disasters to map making and more. The courses are part of the new Caltech-Huntington Program in Visual Culture, established last year with a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Designed to expand Caltech students' exposure to different forms of artistic media, the program also includes guest lectures, field trips, and artists-in-residence.

Boise, Idaho - Artur Pupko, 28, of Boise, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to trafficking in counterfeit goods, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis and Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division announced Thursday. Sentencing for Pupko has been set for December 17, 2019 before U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill at the federal courthouse in Boise.
