San Diego, California - Fans attending the San Diego State-Eastern Michigan football game on Saturday will be treated to a variety of promotions and activities, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. at SDCCU Stadium.

After stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m., the first 2,000 students on hand will receive a complimentary SDSU laundry bag on the Plaza Level, Section 44.

The Aztecs-Eagles contest will coincide with Family Weekend festivities on The Mesa, as the Scarlet and Black welcomes nearly 3,000 family members of SDSU students to the clash in Mission Valley.

In addition, the Aztecs will observe Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday. In partnership with the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and other several other local Hispanic organizations, fans were entitled to a discounted ticket.

San Diego State will also celebrate the College Football Playoff Foundation Extra Yard for Teachers Week by wearing Extra Yard helmet decals, while San Diego County Teachers of the Year are scheduled to be honored during the game.

Not to be outdone, the SDSU-EMU matchup has been designated as High School Band Night with over 1,600 band members from 23 high schools across San Diego County slated to join the Aztec Marching Band on the field at halftime.

The SDCCU Stadium parking lot will once again serve as the nucleus for pregame festivities, including the Wells Fargo Aztec Village, which will be open from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, along with a live DJ, as well as a Kids Zone with carnival rides, inflatable games, face painting and an appearance by the Aztec women’s tennis team.

In addition, Judson Richards and former SDSU wide receiver J.R. Tolver will host a pregame radio show from the SDCCU Stadium concourse on Saturday, airing from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on XTRA Sports 1360 AM, with a simulcast on 101.5 KGB FM, starting at 6:30 p.m.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., the Warrior Walk is scheduled to commence between Lots E and F, led by Honor Warrior Roberto Wallace, who earned three varsity letters at wide receiver for SDSU from 2007-09. The Oceanside, Calif., native played in 32 games during his collegiate career, posting 73 receptions for 940 yards. He enjoyed his best season on The Mesa as a senior in 2009, finishing with 36 catches for 463 yards and three touchdowns.

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s encounter with Eastern Michigan. The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Saturday, the SDCCU Stadium parking lot and Aztec Ticket Office will open at 2:30 p.m.; however, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines on game day.

Student tickets for Aztec football games are now mobile and can be accessed at SDSUStudentTix.com, starting the Monday before each home game at 9 a.m. Current enrolled students receive free admission to each regular-season home game. To access the mobile tickets, students should simply visit SDSUStudentTix.com on their iPhone or Android device, and log in with their preferred email address on file with the Registrar's Office for their tickets to be automatically delivered to their phone prior to each home game. Students are also able to purchase up to two (2) student guest tickets directly from SDSUStudentTix.com.
