Columbia County, Pennsylvania - The Krum family of Columbia County, got more than they bargained for from their tomato plant this year, according to the Association of Mature American Citizens. It continued growing all summer long, ultimately reaching a height of 22 feet and bearing more cherry tomatoes than the family could stomach.
"My little kids eat most of them, but then they got sick of them, so they just fall on the ground," Sam Krum told WNEP-TV. Krum’s plant got a lot of attention. But, the Guinness Book of World Records says the tallest tomato plant ever grown reached 65 feet.
