San Diego, California - A former paralegal specialist for the San Diego Division of the FBI was sentenced Monday to 24 months in prison for embezzling nearly $250,000 in government funds.  Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Cheng of the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General’s (DOJ-OIG) Los Angeles Field Office made the announcement.

San Diego Jury Convicts Child Predator

San Diego, California - On Thursday, October 25, a federal jury in San Diego, California, found Isaiah Smallwood-Jackson guilty of production of child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2251(a) and enticement of a minor, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2422(b), announced United States Attorney Adam Braverman. The convictions trigger mandatory minimum sentences of 15 and 10 years, respectively.

Investigators Tie Nine Local Robberies to Burgundy Bandit

To date, investigators have determined that this robber is responsible for nine robberies of local businesses located in San Diego, La Mesa, and El Cajon, California.
