San Diego, California - The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force, and the Chula Vista Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual believed to be responsible for six bank robberies in San Diego and Chula Vista, California.
In each robbery, upon reaching a teller station, the robber provides a note demanding money from the credit union employee. After being provided a sum of cash, the robber departs the credit union with the money. The man has worn similar style clothing in several robberies; but most notably, the robber wore gray gloves to cover his hands and glasses/sunglasses and hats/hoods to cover his face and head in each robbery.
In two robberies, January 29, 2019 and February 7, 2019, the man carried a motorcycle helmet into the credit unions. During the February 9, 2019 and February 16, 2019 robberies, the man carries a calculator in his hand and holds it to his ear like a cellular telephone.
