San Diego, California - The San Diego Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host its annual “Celebration of Hope Gala” at the Pendry Hotel in San Diego on Friday, Nov. 9. The Celebration of Hope begins at 6 p.m.

Presented by the San Diego Padres, Alexis and Ron Fowler, Peggy and Eric Johnson, Microsoft, Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Chargers and the National Football League, the Celebration of Hope Gala raises funds to support the HDSA which is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Huntington’s Disease, a genetically-transmitted degenerative brain disease for which presently there is no cure.

It was be another star-studded night for sports enthusiasts.  Guests attending the Celebration of Hope Gala will be treated to “The World of Sports According to Joe Buck.” FOX Sports’ lead announcer for Major League Baseball, the NFL and the United States Golf Association (USGA). Buck will be joined at the Celebration of Hope Gala by his wife, Michelle Beisner-Buck, who’s been selected to receive the 2018 Guthrie Award, HDSA’s highest honor, for her work in raising awareness about Huntington’s Disease. Buck has been behind the mic for 21 World Series, five Super Bowls and the last four U.S. Open Golf Championships, while Beisner-Buck now reports for ESPN’s Monday Night NFL Countdown following a nine-year run with the NFL Network.

Tickets, tables and sponsorship opportunities for the Celebration of Hope Gala are still available. Individual tickets are $400 and a tables of 10 start at $3,500. VIP tables are also available at $10,000 and include a special VIP reception with Buck, Beisner-Buck and other VIPs and celebrities from the sports and entertainment world.
