La Jolla, California - The University of California San Diego women's volleyball team will play this week's home matches at Main Gym on the La Jolla campus.

UC San Diego hosts two California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matches including San Francisco State on Friday, September 14, and Cal State East Bay on Saturday, September 15. First serve for both contests is 7 p.m. and admission is free for all.

It gained notoriety as the practice facility for the 1992 United States Men's Olympic Basketball Team, more commonly known as the Dream Team, which consisted of NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and Patrick Ewing, among others. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, the Dream Team defeated opponents by an average of 44 points en route to winning a gold medal.
