San Diego, California - Austin Thompson of Utah was sentenced in federal court Tuesday to 27 months in prison for carrying out a series of so-called denial-of-service computer hacking attacks against multiple victims between 2013 and 2014. The defendant was also ordered to pay $95,000 in restitution to one of the victims - Daybreak Games, formerly Sony Online Entertainment.

San Diego, California - The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery in San Diego, California. On June 28, 2019, at approximately 9:16 a.m., a lone Black male entered the California Bank & Trust, located at 3737 Fifth Avenue, Suite 100, San Diego, California. While brandishing a weapon, the man approached one bank teller and made a verbal demand for cash. After receiving a sum of cash from the teller, the robber fled on foot.
